1889 Brecon Eisteddfod

The National Eisteddfod was held in Brecon in 1889. It was held at Clos y Castell in the castle ruins. The picture to the right shows the Proclamation ceremony on 10th July 1888. Below is the chair given to the winning bard in the Chairing of the Bard ceremony.
