Year 6 Diary I
The children from a Year 6 class (10-11 year olds) at Trefonnen School were asked to fill in a diary of their day, draw a picture of their room at home and a map of their route to school, and to answer some questions about themselves. This is a boy's diary.
| 7.00am - 9.00am | I get up and then have some toast, then I get dressed ready for school. After that I go next door. |
| 9.00am - 11.00am | Arrive at school. Go swimming. Arrive back at school in time for play. |
| 11.00am - 12.30pm | Lunch at 12.30. I had roast. |
| 12.30pm - 1.30pm | After lunch went out to play. |
| 1.30pm - 3.30pm | Dinner bell went. I went in and did some art. |
| 3.30pm - 6.00pm | Home time. Hurray! |
| 6.00pm - bedtime | 9.00pm bed. At about 8.00pm I tripped over a box and banged my toes on the door frame, then fell against my bed and hurt my side. |

Yes I have. I went to Shrewsbury.
Does your family own a car? Where do you go
most often in it?
Yes. Kwik Save.
Do you go anywhere by bus?
Swimming.
Have you lived in Powys all your life? List
the towns/villages (or even cities!) where you have lived.
Yes.
Where are your parents and grandparents from?
Mum and Dad are from Powys. Grandad's from Scotland. Grandad Steve was
from Hungary.
Do you speak Welsh at home? Do you speak any
language other than English at home?
No.
Where would you like to live when you grow
up - and why?
Where I am now because I like it.
What do you think you have achieved in the
last year?
I think I have achieved 4 certificates and a couple of other stuff. I caught
a fish for the first time and a swimming certificate. Also made the school team.
What do you most want to achieve in your life?
I would like to achieve to go and see some whales.
What is the most memorable thing that has
happened to you? (Give dates if you can).
When I went to old Trafford with my uncle Glug to see Man U play football.
