The refreshment rooms were leased the following year to David Williams. The term was for 7 years and included the dwelling house where Annie lived. The annual rent was £10 payable in 2 instalments. The lease even included a list of what provisions might be sold at the refreshment rooms and at what price (which remained unchanged when the lease was renewed a second time 14 years later).
