Working away from home

Some of our diarists were evidence that working long distances from home has become more commonplace.

  • 8.30pm Pick up husband from station in Caersws - he's been working in London for 2 days.
  • Rose at 6:00am and prepared to Travel to Northampton, 6:30am to 10:00am travelled to Northampton to have a look at a fire in a coffee shop. Travelled back to the office at Hednesford in Staffordshire arrived there at 12:45pm, spent the rest of the day carrying out paper work on many different issues that I have under my control. Left the office at 5:15pm and travelled home, arrived at 6:30pm had dinner and spent the rest of the evening with the family and watching TV.
