Computer problems
Some of our diarists were having problems with their computers
on September 24th.
- Switch on the computer but the keyboard wasn't
detected so tried again - now the screen won't show up - so switch off
- try again- nothing happening - I hate computers - they never seem to do
what I want when I want. Decided to go out for some fresh air.
- Frustrating day with new technology - bring
back papers and pencils, or even blackboards and chalk! Had a faulty CD-Rom
which would not run, and spent rest of day trying to evaluate websites which
would not open - I hate computers.
- Computer repairer took my PC to replace hard
drive.
- 2.30 - 4pm On the phone talking to technicians
about my computer problems, they agreed with me that modem not working.
8.45pm Phone rang - friend about computer - is it going back?
9.20pm Packed up the computer to go back to be fixed.
